David Archuleta, the early favorite to be the winner this year has done nothing that would totally make his being overpimped seem natural. Atlast, Vote For The Worst sees that he is the worst out of the three, the only thing working for him is his looks and the overpimping. Come on, Love Me Tender had Simon saying he crushed the competition? He was gasping for air during the whole song and he lost it at one point. And it was the most boring song of the night!

 

I don't think American Idol producers will let him win after this, plus the stage dad issue is still in full swing (Jeff Archuleta is now banned from appearing during the rehearsals because of the Beautiful Girls stunt he pulled during David A's Stand By Me Performance) Archuleta fans no need to hate me for posting this, in fact if he ges eliminated this week, that would be the best thing that would happen to him, he has a future (I don't like him but this fact is undeniable).

Plus, think about it Jordin Sparks won las year and was just pushed too much making her sick so if David wins, Idol will push him and he has a lot of limits, remember he's already had vocal paralysis.

1. Music Of The Night and snippets on Don't Stop The Music showed his versatility

2. Unlike other contestants who solely rely on a huge fan base, This guy has not have a bad performance in the show (Ok, maybe Innocent was mediocre but it was not bad) Every vote he gets for each performance, he truly deserves.

Think of it, each of the contestants left has had off nights and some were really off...

Archuleta - You're The Voice, We Can Work It Out

Syesha - (Well she's awesome I can't think of an off performance, maybe the worst was I Will Always Love You, but I actually loved it)

3. Billie Jean, need I Say More? This performance put a question mark on David Archuleta's seemingly inevitable victory

4. He's had two mega-mostrous hits in I-Tunes Billie Jean and Always Be My Baby (Last I heard ABMB is still at the top on all of I-Tunes right now!) so if they want a commercially appealing singer, he should win this hands down, He's so ready to sell records. Even his independently produced and released album Analog Heart got to Number 1 in Amazon. 5. Hello , even Lionel Richie loved it.

6. He's hot, single, he's smart he seems to be grounded, he's consistent and he's (in my opinion) the best male vocalist ever on American Idol. He's totally kicking everyone's asses in the show by giving explosive performances! TOTAL PACKAGE !

7. Always Be My Baby, slammed the controversy questioning his originality!

8. He respects the judges' opinions no matter how far fetched they are (ie. Simon thinking he's smug) (OK He may have answered back during an elimination round wherein Simon said that he lacked charisma, bu that's about all that I rmemeber on him answering back to the judges)

9. American Idol owes the rockers big time, especially after Taylor beat Chris Daughtry to the title in Season 5. If David Cook loses this season, I think any rocker who wants to join American Idol should rehink joining the contest in the future if they want to win it.

10. No one on Idol has been better in picking songs that will suit them... No one!

Lists: Entertainment Weekly's Top 15 Idol Performances Of All Time

I have to say I only disagree with one of the listed performances (Bo & I would change it to Fantasia's I Believe because that performance still gives me goosebumps when I watch it) But all in all, in my opinion, Entertainment Weekly made a list pretty much accurately. So all you Idol fans it's time to reminisce because this season is becoming really boring, I swear if David Cook gets eliminated, I might not be able to take it too well, Just like when Melinda was eliminated)

15. RUBEN STUDDARD, ''Superstar'' (Season 2)
There will always be fans who believe Ruben should have played runner-up to Clay, and certainly the Velvet Teddy Bear's post-victory recordings (''Sorry 2004'' — just sorry) haven't won him any converts. But in today's world of histrionic pop ballads, there's something to be said for a beautiful song delivered with straightforward simplicity. With his soulful semifinal rendition of this classic Carpenters' tune, Ruuuuben began his own journey to stardom that took him right to the Idol finals and beyond.



14. TRENYCE, ''Proud Mary'' (Season 2)
''Sing like it's the last time you'll be on this stage,'' Paula Abdul often tells the Idol finalists. And stylish, sultry Trenyce — who pretty much lost all chance of winning the Idol crown when her shoplifting mug shot popped up on The Smoking Gun website midway through season 2 — did exactly that with her final-week performance: a scorching, disco-fied take on ''Proud Mary.'' As that big, growling voice connected with lyrics about a hardscrabble life on the river, Trenyce sounded every bit a winner.



13. DAVID COOK, ''Billie Jean'' (Season 7)
Yeah, his slowed-down, guitar-edged take on Michael Jackson's iconic pop-soul classic was inspired by Chris Cornell's 2007 cover. But Cook's pitch perfection, his explosive, tortured delivery, and yes, his savvy selection of a little-known arrangement that fit the week's musical theme instantly turned him into season 7's midterm front-runner. As for the haters and their silly indignation: Who's got time when you're busy giving a standing ''O''?



12. CLAY AIKEN, ''Solitaire'' (Season 2)
Quite possibly the most polarizing contestant in Idol history, Clay represents either the pinnacle of modern balladeering or the ultimate low in lite-pop affectation, depending on whom you ask. That said, his take on Neil Sedaka's angsty ballad — moodily backlit for maximum impact — was as heartfelt as it was riveting, with not a single wonky note in the mix. As Sedaka himself sighed, ''I have lost my song forever to you; it will always be a Clay Aiken song.''



11. CARRIE UNDERWOOD, ''Alone'' (Season 4)
Note to all future Idol wannabes: As far as the show is concerned, ''Alone'' is property of Carrie Underwood. And if you're flirting with the idea of tackling Heart's booming anthem (like recent contestants Gina Glocksen and Ramiele Malubay), a trip to YouTube to check out Underwood's season 4 rendition should be enough change your mind. Carrie's brute-force power, her total vocal control, even her hair (teased to '80s-era perfection) all combined to create a rousing coming-out party for the show's most successful graduate. In other words, don't try this at home, kids!



10. JORDIN SPARKS, ''I (Who Have Nothing)'' (Season 6)
Idol takes a lot of heat every season for saddling its young contestants with fusty old numbers written decades before they were born. But Jordin's gut-wrenching rendition of the fortysomething ballad ''I (Who Have Nothing)'' during British invasion week was downright revelatory, transforming the bubbly teen from a mid-pack player to a serious threat for the season 6 crown. With one incredible, anguished glory note, Jordin broke hearts and won fans across the nation, and in the process, silenced the deafening buzz about a presumed Melinda-LaKisha finale.



9. DAVID ARCHULETA, ''Imagine'' (Season 7)
Cynics, grab your Kleenex. You know Paula Abdul wasn't the only one with water in her eyes after the adorable Utah teen delivered a measured, powerful, and emotionally gripping take on John Lennon's classic. Now wipe those tears, hit the replay button on this performance, and repeat.



8. MELINDA DOOLITTLE, ''My Funny Valentine'' (Season 6)
Is it possible to perform too well on Idol? In the case of Melinda's luscious semifinal cover of the timeless jazz standard, the answer is, quite possibly, yes. Indeed, with her flawless phrasing and modulation, the way she caressed and finessed every word and note of Rodgers and Hart's gorgeous composition, Mindy Doo set the bar almost impossibly high for herself, and wound up as the season's second runner-up. That said, now that you can download Melinda's 2008 ''Funny'' cover on iTunes, each day can once again be Valentine's Day.



7. CHRIS DAUGHTRY, ''Hemorrhage'' (Season 5)
Fourth place, shmourth place! Daughtry's rock-star destiny was as obvious as a Ryan Seacrest punch line by the second week of Idol's fifth-season semifinals, when the bald-headed dude dug into this Fuel song with the kind of polish and charisma usually exhibited only by headline acts at massive stadium shows. In a word, awesome.



6. JENNIFER HUDSON, ''Circle of Life'' (Season 3)
If only every week of Idol featured a display of manic commitment to the music, the way wild-eyed, big-voiced, eventual Oscar winner J. Hud did throughout her season 3 run. Watching her seize upon Elton John's Lion King hymn like a lioness catching an impala made for a truly remarkable viewing experience. The Gospel inflection. The raised hand. The near swallowing of the microphone. All these things put Jennifer's interpretation on a slippery slope, but she felt every word of the song so truly, madly, and deeply that resisting her became an exercise in futility.



5. BO BICE, ''In a Dream'' (Season 4)
Talk about cojones! Late in Idol's fourth season, when viewers knew things were coming down to a photo finish between country gal Carrie Underwood and Bice, the shaggy Alabama rocker set down the mic stand and delivered a searing a capella rendition of ''In a Dream,'' a little-known ballad by Badlands. Sure, Bice ultimately took home the silver — and his sales haven't come close to Underwood's multi-platinum heights — but it's impossible to forget (and it'd be criminal not to applaud) his bold artistic choice, which doubled as a nod to Idol's accompaniment-free audition rounds.



4. BLAKE LEWIS, ''You Give Love a Bad Name'' (Season 6)
So what if Blake's vocals were the weakest of any top 2 contestant in Idol history? His audacious, thrilling, and wholly original reinvention of a cherished hair-metal anthem — complete with beatboxing and ''needle-on-the-record'' pantomime — injected sleepy season 6 with a jolt of super-cool electronica and much-needed fun. For that alone, here's hoping the guy scores himself at least one hit from his underappreciated Audio Day Dream disc



3. ELLIOTT YAMIN, ''A Song for You'' (Season 5)
Okay, so it's not all that hard to move Paula Abdul to tears — but getting Simon Cowell to compare your performance to ''a vocal masterclass,'' that takes something beyond special, which is exactly how we'd describe Yamin's flawless rendition of Donnie Hathaway's classic. With his crooked smile and aw-shucks demeanor, Yamin was dogged by doubters throughout his Idol run, but for one night in the show's terrific fifth season, ''A Song for You'' made him a superstar — and very solid sales for his 2007 indie-label debut have kept the flame alive.



2. KELLY CLARKSON, ''Stuff Like That There'' (Season 1)
Some folks rail against the theme nights, which often force Idol contestants into new and unfamiliar musical genres, but they forget that big-band night helped make a star of the very first American Idol. Decked out in her black-and-white polka-dot dress and pearls, Kelly broke out a monster range that proved more than equal to the brassy, sassy ''Stuff Like That There,'' making the dusty gem sound fresh and modern. And indeed, her ability to raise even the sleepiest numbers (''A Moment Like This,'' ''Miss Independent'') to pop relevance helped Kelly make the early transition from TV-show novelty act to formidable ''Since U Been Gone'' chart-topper.



1. FANTASIA BARRINO, ''Summertime'' (Season 3)
On a soundtrack-themed night filled with covers of Whitney, Celine, and Phil Collins, Fantasia took a completely different path, choosing the haunting lullaby ''Summertime,'' from Porgy and Bess, a song she said she'd never heard prior to the competition. Yet, crouched on the stage and singing with a raw emotion that drew comparisons to a young Aretha, Fantasia moved not only herself to tears but a large chunk of the viewing audience as well. If you were lucky enough to catch her performance, then you know you witnessed a moment of true musical magic, one that future Idol finalists can only hope to match.

They danced with the cast of So You Think You Can Dance, Rumor has it that they'll be incorporating the SYTYCD Cast on the Idols Tour, they tested the idea on tonight's episode and it works.

I loved the bit where David Cook sang (And I so hate that girl touching him!)

Carly was pretty but she has this tendency to look angry when singing!

David Archuleta did not have a singing spot (That's so surprising!)

Syesha keeps on doing her thing, she's really working hard on this!

Jason's voice surprisingly fit the song nicely.

Michael Johns, Brooke White & the dreaded KLC don't have singing spots as well.

Gosh, I wish Danny was there to rock this song out!

Following his cameo role in last summer's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the acting bug bit Richards so hard that he actually knocked out his back molars in the hopes of playing the titular character in the big screen remake of Mister Ed. We'll be there with drugs and his dad's ashes to console Richards when he learns Hollywood's put a halt to the talking horse project in order to focus on the 10th installment in the Air Bud series.

9. Thom Yorke
Here's a little-known piece of trivia: Radiohead's seminal, 1995 album The Bends was actually named after Thom Yorke's mangled mouth.

8. Paul Wall
Wait, is Paul Wall a James Bond villain? Actually, no, Wall's a Houston-based rapper and jeweler best known for casting his teeth with a golden grill. Which raises a good point: grills look stupid.

Since ol' Madge has always hired the best producers to reinvent and resuscitate her career, you'd think she'd have enlisted a good orthodontist to close that mysterious gap in her front teeth by now. Perhaps she's been too busy focusing on her burgeoning directorial career.

Be it a lifetime of hard living or the simple birthright of being British, most people on this list have an excuse for bad teeth. Jewel, a squeaky clean Mormon from Alaska with the corny lyrics of a 14-year-old girl, should have invested in some dental work and fixed up that snaggle tooth as soon as she went platinum. Now that her pop career has gone bust, maybe her hillbilly teeth will fare better in Nashville.

5. Mick Jones
Did former Clash guitarist Jones not get the memo that Austin Powers jokes have been played out for years now? Take out the novelty teeth, dude, and start working on your Boratisms.

4. Trick Daddy
Did we mention grills are stupid? But in Trick Daddy's case we'll let it slide. Heck, the grimacing, over-the-hill rapper's gotta hold unto something resembling platinum.

3. Young David Bowie
He used to live in England and have bad teeth, and now he keeps a place in America and has a solid set of pearly whites. He also used to bone dudes, and now he's married to supermodel Iman. Can you say total makeover?

2. Amy Winehouse
Just leave the poor girl alone, OK? It's not like you're her dental hygienist or something. Besides, ol' Amy's got a perfect excuse for that missing tooth: She had to pry it loose, as her gums are the only place left on her body that will willingly accept drug injections.

1. Shane McGowan
Anyone who actually looks better without their teeth has to top our list of mangle-toothed rockers. Though years of alcohol and substance abuse have left infamous Pogues frontman Shane McGowan with little more than a crooked picket fence of bottom chompers, back in his heyday the dude's fang-like front teeth were so gnarly and underdeveloped they looked like two aborted fetuses.

Memory Flashback: Street Fighter

I remember when I was in High School and I had really no firiends, I was nerdy and I was a loner, But then I really bonded with two guys in my class because of this video game called Street Fighter...I was really addicted to it, We didn't have our own family computer (Wow 90's!) so I had to go to Rental shops which were constantly being raided by Policemen (It's a good thing I was never caught there, what a shame that would have been!) I even went o a stage wherein I wouldn't eat for the whole day just so I coulod play... My favorite player was Chun Li (the girl from China) and my favorite move of hers was the continuous kicking (I don't knbow what it's called) I was untouchable by the time I got to learn this move, My two other friends could not beat me so they ventured to other games, I didn't I stayed with it until they had more versions...

Mind you, I was also good with Dhalsim and E Honda...
